Today, Teng, Sei Ping, Luis and Davide all presented their research as part of the ESS group's student seminar series.

Teng presented his research on interoperability in wireless sensor networks, Sei Ping on intelligent adaptive street lighting, Luis on machine learning for adaptive power management, and Davide on energy-aware algorithms for wireless sensor networks.
All received a lot of useful questions and feedback on their research, and it was a useful exercise in finding out more about what everyone is up to!

Launch of My New Website1st January 2011
Today sees the launch of a major website redesign. Visually, it might not look like much of a change, but a lot has changed under the bonnet. Hopefully there's now a lot more information on here and, more importantly for me, it is much easier for me to actually keep it up-to-date... The ARM-ECS Research Centre at the University of Southampton is offering a 3.5 year fully-funded PhD Studentship.
